Jerry Merrill has an infectious enthusiasm for all things Rexburg. He is involved in many community activities including the Kiwanis Club where he served as President twice, District Lieutenant Governor and many years on the Board of Directors. He was honored with the Distinguished Lt. Gov. award and Kiwanian of the year award. Jerry served as a Scoutmaster in his local unit on two different occasions, once having a group of 13 boys achieve their Eagle rank all in the same Court of Honor and most importantly, had a great time teaching and having fun with some wonderful young men who have now become wonderful Husbands, Fathers and citizens in their own right. He also has been on the board of the Madison Education foundation and is currently serving on the board of the Madison Athletic Club (MAC) and several years ago purchased an old school bus, had it painted red and white, loads it up with enthusiastic young Bobcat fans and drives it around town on home football games. The purpose is to remind people of the game and to come support all the kids involved in sports, band, cheerleading and dance, etc. Jerry has the backing of many leaders in the community, but to be successful in this election he needs your support. Please consider a monetary contribution to his campaign and / or volunteer to help.
